Ce 29 février 2012, pour célébrer l’année bissextile, les parcs Disney US ont eu la généreuse idée d’organiser une nuit blanche durant laquelle les Magic Kingdom de Californie et Floride sont restés ouverts jusqu’à 6h du matin! Le public s’est pressé devant les portes des parcs pour participer à cet événement baptisé One More Disney Day. A un point que le management n’avait clairement pas vu venir : Disneyland avait prévu de recevoir 44 000 visiteurs, ils en ont finalement reçu 106 000 (!!) sur l’ensemble de la journée comme l’explique Al Lutz sur MiceAge. Un chiffre historique à Anaheim qui donne le vertige. Le parc était donc plein à craquer, créant des files monstrueuses dans le parc et paralysant tous les axes routiers du voisinage, mais la bonne ambiance a régné jusqu’aux petites heures.
En début de soirée, #disneyland est même devenu un trending topic sur Twitter, tant les visiteurs étaient enthousiastes d’assister à une rave party (sic) à Disney, et les autres, bien frustrés de ne pas y être.
Pour l’occasion, il y avait comme un air de festival rock à Disneyland, ce qui n’est évidemment pas pour me déplaire.
Et cette question : à quand une nuit blanche à Disneyland Paris?
On february 29, to celebrata this leap year, US Disney parks had the brilliant idea of planning a sleepover night event with opening hours extended until 6 am in the morning! The crowd showing up was so huge for this event called One More Disney Day, that Disneyland executives haven’t seen it coming. At first they expected only 44 000 guests to show up but that number incredibly raised to 106 000 (!!) guests, as Al Lutz reports on MiceAge. A historical attendance record in Anaheim. So the park was absolutely packed with people, which created unbelievable lines in the park and paralyzing every road in the neighborhood, but “the vibe in the overwhelmed park was festive and upbeat throughout” says Al Lutz.
In the evening, #disneyland even became a trending topic on Twitter, as visitors were so enthusiastic to attend a “rave party” at Disney, and others, much frustrated to not being there.
For the occasion, there was a totally cool rock festival feel in the air at Disneyland you don’t see every day.
Which leads me to this question : what about a sleepover night in Disneyland Paris?
