L’année 2012 se termine dans quelques jours. Vite, un article récap! Au niveau des parcs Disney, cette année aura été marquée par de nombreuses inaugurations. Et une fois n’est pas coutume, tous les resorts Disney du monde ont été servis. Le massif Carsland et la chaleureuse Buena Vista Street à Disney California Adventure; New Fantasyland et Test Track 2.0 à Walt Disney World; Toy Story Midway Mania à Tokyo Disney Sea; Grizzly Gulch à Hong Kong Disneyland… Même l’enfant terrible Disneyland Paris a fêté ses 20 ans la tête haute avec l’impressionnant spectacle nocturne Disney Dreams. C’est dire. Jamais autant de chantiers n’avaient eu lieu simultanément dans les parcs Disney et les années à venir ne nous laisseront aucun répit. Dans la ligne de mire: Mystic Manor à HKDL (2013), Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity aux WDS (2014), Shanghai Disneyland (2015), ainsi qu’Avatarland à WDW (2016). Au rayon rumeurs, on parle avec de plus en plus d’insistance d’attractions sur les licences Marvel, Ironman en tête pour Disneyland Anaheim, d’un clone de Carsland pour les Disney Hollywood Studios et la suite du placemaking des vilains Walt Disney Studios devra bien finir par arriver un jour.
En attendant, jetons un dernier coup de rétroviseur aux articles marquants de l’année 2012. Par ici la sortie!
– Un Pixarland aux Walt disney Studios? C’est l’idée que nous avons suggéré pour plus de logique dans le fourre-tout que sont actuellement les WDS.
– Pendant ce temps là à Walibi, des costards-cravate se prennent pour Steve Jobs, tout simplement.
– Magique : un mec bourré cherche la bagarre à Disneyland.
– Romantique : une demande en mariage sous-marine dans le bassin de The Seas à Epcot.
– Tragi-comique : notre envoyé spécial Timekeeper a testé pour vous le diner spectacle l’Assemblée Générale des actionnaires d’EuroDisney.
– Les Walt Disney Studios ont fêté leurs 10 ans de déboires. L’occasion pour nous de vous expliquer comment un tel fiasco a pu voir le jour dans une société comme Disney. Sortez les mouchoirs.
– Contrôle Qualité du spectacle des 20 ans de DLP, Disney Dreams. A lire absolument.
– Contrôle Qualité de la saison des 20 ans de Disneyland Paris.
– On se penche sur le bras de fer entre Disney et Universal qui s’intensifie avec l’ouverture simultanée de Carsland et Transformers en Californie.
– Oh! Disneyland Paris édite un livre à l’occasion de ses 20 ans. Fait rarissime donc on le décortique. Et comme c’est pas mal du tout, on salue l’initiative.

– Pendant que le concurrent Astérix ouvre une nouvelle attraction, Disneyland Paris ferme les siennes. Eh oui, les rêves ont un prix.
– Contrôle Qualité d’Aquanura, le nouveau show de fontaines d’Efteling.
– On a établi un top 6 des imitations les plus angoissantes de It’s A Small World. Les lauréats l’ont bien mérité.
– De bien jolies photos de Carsland, Radiator Springs Racers et Carthay Circle Restaurant à DCA.
– La plus jolie vidéo jamais tournée à Disneyland.
– Peter Pan et Wendy se marient. Dans la vraie vie! Chelou? Absolument. C’est précisément pour cela que ça nous intéresse.
–Un fan du Rock’n’Roller coaster (rien que ça, il fallait l’inventer) agrave son cas. Vidéo!
– Oh! Le Parcorama lance un Tumblr lolifiant sur DLP! Oh! Il faudrait que je pense à l’updater, ce serait bien!
– Barbie s’invite à Epcot en 94. On en demandait pourtant pas tant.
– Notre guide (avec de belles photos en couleurs) pour ne plus jamais s’ennuyer sur Splash Mountain.

2012 is almost done, which means it’s time for an annual round up post! For the Disney Parks, this year was marked by numerous ride openings. And for once, all the resorts around the globe have been served. The massive Carsland as well as the lovely Buena Vista Street in disney California Adventure; New Fantasyland and Test Track 2.0 in Walt Disney World; Toy Story Midway Mania in Tokyo Disney Sea; Grizzly Gulch in Hong Kong Disneyland… Even the enfant terrible Disneyland Paris has been able to celebrate it’s 20th birthday with dignity thanks to the brilliant night time spectacular Disney Dreams. Which says a lot. It was the first time in Disney history that so many construction sites were simultaneously building new attractions or destinations. Just have a look at what’s in store for the years to come: Mystic Manor in HKDL (2013), Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity in WDS (2014), Shanghai Disneyland (2015), and Avatarland in DAK (2016). Also, the rumor mill goes on and on with Marvel attractions – Ironman in Disneyland? A clone of Carsland for DHS, and the next phases of the much needed WDS placemaking that will have to come – someday.
